When you create a profile in a university powered by BlueVolt, you will be required to create a password. You can update this password at any time. Here are some of the common problems/concerns that arise with passwords:
Don’t Have Your Password
If you are unsure what your password is, you can click the link that says I Don’t Have My Password. We will send you a password reset link via email.
Password Reset Email Not Received
If you clicked on I Don’t Have My Password and you haven’t received the password reset email, make sure to check your Spam or Junk folders. You can also add email@example.com to your safe senders/whitelist to ensure future emails will arrive to your Inbox correctly.
Change Your Password Frequently
We recommend changing your password regularly to ensure account security.
Password Character Requirements
The BlueVolt platform doesn’t require a specific combination of characters. You can use numbers, letters, spaces, and symbols. However, for security purposes, BlueVolt does require your password to contain 6 characters or more.
Passwords are Case-Sensitive
Passwords are case-sensitive. Make sure you pay attention to Caps Lock and Num Lock.
NOTE: If you are still having trouble, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Never include your password in email correspondence.
