When you create a profile in a university powered by BlueVolt, you will be required to create a password. You can update this password any time. Here are some of the common problems/concerns that arise with passwords:
Don’t Have Your Password
If you are unsure what your password is, you can click the link that says I don’t have my password/Forgot Password
Passwords are Not Visible
For security purposes, University Admins and BlueVolt are unable to see your password. If you have trouble changing or updating your password, we can help you reset it, but we cannot tell you what it is.

Password Reset Email Not Received
If you clicked on I Don’t Have My Password and you haven’t received the password reset email, make sure to check your Spam or Junk folders. You can also add notifications@bluevolt.com to your safe senders/whitelist to ensure future emails will arrive to your Inbox correctly.
Change Your Password Frequently
We recommend changing your password regularly, but there is nothing in the system to prevent you from using a previous password or to force you to change it regularly.
Password Character Requirements
The BlueVolt platform doesn’t require a specific combination of characters. You can use numbers, letters, spaces, and symbols. However, for security purposes, BlueVolt does require your password contain 6 characters or more.
Passwords are Case-Sensitive
Passwords are case-sensitive. Make sure you pay attention to Caps Lock and Num Lock.
NOTE: If you are still having trouble, contact support@bluevolt.com. Never include your password in email correspondence.
