What is the Course Catalog?
The Course catalog tab of the Sharing Center is where you can Get, Request, or Buy courses that are available from course owners (aka Publishers) that you would like to add to your own university for your learners to take.
Courses you have chosen to share to the BlueVolt Sharing Center Catalog only display for other admins who are browsing the catalog and may want your course (i.e., you won’t see your own courses that you have added to the catalog).
How to Browse or Search the Course Catalog
University Admins can browse the Course Catalog using the pagination features or search for a specific course by entering key words.
How to Filter the Course Catalog
University Admins can filter the Course Catalog to find courses that they would like to add to their own university. To help narrow down courses displayed, you can use the various filters presented.

How to Request a Course from the Sharing Catalog
University Admins can request courses from the sharing catalog. After you click the Request Course button, the request is sent to the publisher’s notification tab as well as in an email. Once reviewed by the course publisher, you will see either an approval or rejection message on the notification tab. If approved, you will see the course displayed on the My Shared Courses tab under Courses Shared with Me. You can click the course name to open the course editor where you can then activate, group restrict, and categorize the course to finish setting it up in your university.
How to Get a Course from the Sharing Catalog
University Admins can automatically add courses from the course catalog if the course does not require publisher approval first. After you click the Get Course button, you can then proceed to set up the course in your university without waiting for approval. You will see the course displayed on the My Shared Courses tab under Courses Shared with Me. You can click the course name to open the course editor where you can then activate, group restrict, and categorize the course to finish setting it up in your university.
Note: The course publisher will still be notified that you have selected their course for your university.
How to Buy a Course from the Sharing Catalog
University Admins can buy a course from the BlueVolt Sharing Catalog by clicking the Buy button. After you click the Buy button, you can choose the number of enrollments you would like to purchase for your university, complete the purchase with a credit card, and then proceed to set up the course in your university. You will see the course displayed on the My Shared Courses tab under Courses Shared with Me. You can click the course name to open the course editor where you can then activate, group restrict, and categorize the course to finish setting it up in your university. On Courses Shared with Me page, you can also purchase more enrollments as needed, by clicking the Buy More Enrollments button.
